A Cirrus Airlines (Munich) Dornier 328 suffered serious damage when it overran the runway at Mannheim City Airport Wednesday. Flight 1567 from Berlin Tempelhof landed on schedule, but for some unknown reason ran off the end of the 3,280 foot long runway 27, coming to rest at the perimeter bank. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to its left wing and lost its propeller from the same side. Airline officials say that none of the twenty-four (24) passengers were injured. German investigators are looking into the incident.
