Aer Lingus operates a fleet of A330/321/320 aircraft from bases in Ireland, the UK and the US. In 2011 Aer Lingus will celebrate 75 successful years in the airline industry connecting Ireland to the world.
In this ever changing but exciting world of aviation we are now looking for exceptional individuals for future Direct Entry First Officer positions across our bases in Ireland and the UK.
Initially, you will be operating on A320/321 aircraft on our short haul network. Over time you may have the opportunity to move onto our A330 long haul fleet, and ultimately command.
To be considered for these positions you must possess the following essential criteria:
• A valid JAA issued ATPL (or frozen ATPL)
• A current ME/IR
• MCC qualification
• Current Class 1 Medical certificate
• English Language Proficiency level 4 or higher
• Permanently eligible to live and work in the EU with an unrestricted worldwide passport.
• Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure
Additionally candidates must demonstrate strong leadership potential, well developed teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
